As some of you know I suffer from allergies … dust mites, grass, pollen, flowers of the olive … are my worst enemies, I made vaccines for 6 years and fortunately managed to largely solve the problem, but some annoyances still persist.
The damn bugs that live and multiply in the dust are the worst … tickle my nose up to operate a series of sneezes. … Etcciù, etcciù, etcciù, etcciù, etcciù …. Virtually no finish … more relief is required! The vacuum cleaner. For several years I have entrusted to “Elf” that now because of his seniority began to vanish … need a replacement … Magician you think!
In this problem last year … He’s added another from December 2004 with the arrival of Jerry, my beloved Pinscher Nano, my family has expanded since he lives in the house … and there is a need resolve the inevitable problem hairs that despite regular grooming, puppy leaves my home … the “Elf” is not it anymore … we need a new vacuum cleaner.
Last Sunday I finally managed to convince my mother and then we went out … mission vacuum cleaner, but also aspires hair of the dog! We went from Euronics and there seems true but I managed to find just the product I was looking for this time … the Magician has a pretty magic!
We bought a vacuum cleaner in tow compact DYSON – DCO8T Animalpro! Truly an innovative product not only for technical but also for design …

DYSON DC08T – Product Description
Emergency resolved thanks to Jerry Mini Turbine Head, designed by Dyson and ideal for collecting the hair of my little puppy as well as for the cleaning of sofas, stairs and car.
Mites? … since I purchased this product have a vague memory. The sweeper brush Turbine head provides excellent performance on carpet … for use on floors, simply turn off the rotating brush and hunting all’acaro ended!

The vacuum cleaner seems invented for me … I can not believe, thanks to Bactisafe with HEPA filter traps and destroys bacteria and mold on contact and also the only technology Root12Cyclone can capture microscopic particles and maintains constant power cleaner .
Goodbye dear “Elf” from the name that seemed small, but in fact were quite bulky … besides the problem of electric broom was also that of bag accessories … there was practically need a dedicated area. With my new “friend” the space problem is solved, the size is very small and it also puts you in a very orderly as one can easily see by the photo of the product.
Ok, the problem size is fixed, but since it is a vacuum cleaner in tow as we do with its handling? Well, do not believe it, but it responds instantly to our commands, remote control … it was not even around and moves instantaneously and is also easy to carry around furniture. Want to use the vacuum cleaner to clean the stairs? Dyson will guarantee maximum stability, being designed to remain stationary on the steps as you climb. The wheels are also covered in protective rubber to take care of even the most delicate surfaces.
Another important difference from the common vacuum cleaner on the market is that this little “monster” does not use bags with permanent filters. The pre-motor filter removes particles down to 0.1 micron and is washable, while the post-motor electrostatic filter trattiente carbon emissions of the engine, which would otherwise be harmful to our health …. The filter should never be replaced! This system also prevents the recirculation of dust particles in the air … Dyson practically inhale and exhale!
The confirmation that it was the right product for my needs I had when I read that was approved for allergy sufferers … my vacuum cleaner has the British Allergy Foundation seal of approval, because the models DC08 telescope system “were approved British Allergy Foundation (BAF).
My father after recovering from the shock, for the price, immediately took care of cleaning the car … No problem! To clean the car and the sofas are the special accessories that can be placed directly on the handle or end of a telescopic tube for easy cleaning, even in tight spaces.

For cleaning of curtains, sofas or small carpets just use the button to reduce aspiration of reduced power that prevents them from being sucked.
The telescopic tube can also be adjusted to desired length … just press, pull and this will easily reach all the corners without the need to climb.
The container of the vacuum is transparent, so you can easily see when it is full and retrieve any objects aspirated by mistake.
The vacuum cleaner is made from ABS and polycarbonate plastics both very strong. Warranty? … Of two years.
But now comes the sad note … the price. Want to know what cost us the joke? … € 420 a bang is true … I still wonder how I managed to convince my mother to buy it … but trust me the product is worth every penny, every cent!

Another of Cuisinart’s “next generation” of food processors, this is not as large or quite as powerful as the 14 cup model, but it will perform the same functions and is more than adequate for most families’ needs. The large feed tube means less pre-chopping and the dough blade and function ensure you get the perfect dough consistency. Like its bigger sibling it has a new stream-lined design and a longer warranty than the original 11 cup Cuisinart, but is compatible with any 11 cup specialty discs or blades you may already own.
Cuisinart DLC-2011 description
Equipped with an extra-large feed tube, a small feed tube, a dough blade, and slicing and shredding discs, this 600-watt, 11-cup, full-size food processor provides all the power, versatility, and capacity needed by any household. The motor automatically adjusts the speed to ensure proper consistency when mixing doughs. Cooks experienced with Cuisinart food processors will welcome the new feed tube and pusher assembly, which is easy to use and conveniently located at the machine’s front. At 4-1/4 inches by 2-3/4 inches, the large oval feed tube accommodates whole fruits and vegetables. The small, cylindrical tube is located inside the pusher assembly and has its own hollow pusher, which removes with a twist. On the bottom of the small pusher is a pinhole for dribbling oil into the bowl while making mayonnaise.

The Lexan work bowl is virtually shatterproof and impervious to heat or cold. There’s the familiar stainless-steel chopping blade and a dough blade. Stainless-steel slicing (4 mm) and shredding discs, a plastic spatula shaped for the work bowl, a recipe booklet, and an instruction video showing basic use, tips, techniques, and preparation of some recipes from the booklet complete the package. (Existing Cuisinart blades and discs also fit this machine.) Cuisinart warranties the motor against defects for 10 years and the remaining parts for three years
Cuisinart DLC-2011 user review
As the owner of Cuisinart food processor for more than 20 years, when it came time to upgrade it was a no-brainer…another Cuisinart. I had received excellent customer service in the past when a part developed cracks.
Now, under new ownership, it’s a whole new story. I had my new model for less than a month when it developed numerous cracks in the pusher assembly. I called customer service (by the way, the number in the manual was not a working number) and I was told they would send me a new part only after I sent them the defective one, and there would be a delay of about two weeks, not counting shipping (plan on another two weeks). This was their unbendable rule. I told them this was not acceptable, that I did not want to be without the use of the equipment for a month, especially with the holidays coming up. Sorry, that’s the rule, is what I was told.
Then I wrote to the President of Conair (the parent company) and the VP/GM of the Cuisinart division, and asked them to contact me for assistance in resolving this issue. A month has passed as I write this, and I have not heard from either of them.
I took the equipment back to the store where I purchased it, and exchanged it for a KitchenAid food processor, which was less expensive, and works beautifully. I did my research this time, and they have a reputation for excellent customer service should I need it.
The Cuisinarts are good, solid appliances, but if you ever need customer service, it’s an uphill battle. If you decide to buy a Cuisinart, be sure to buy at a store that will stand behind the products they sell.

MAGIMIX 5200 – General Comments
Yes, the Magimix 5200 is expensive, but if you use a food processor regularly, it is worth every penny. My last Magimix lasted for 15 years, with almost daily usage. It made bread, chopped vegetables, mixed cakes. I was given another make of food processor when my Magimix died and it lasted barely a year, so I got the new Magimix 5200. It does everything I need it to do, but it seems to have a more difficult time with dough than I experienced with my old Magimix. The base, though heavy, doesn’t seem able to stay in place. The hard fruit juicer is new to me, and it is a hassle to clean. The citrus juicer works very well, but you have to pay attention, or you can end up with orange rind flung against the wall. The graters and slicers work very well, as do the blades. I would like an attachment to funnel flour, sugar, etc into the top, as it is difficult to pour such things into it while in use – but that is an issue for most food processors.

It is very handy having three bowls to use, but the smaller bowls must be fitted inside the largest one to use – and that’s not much use if it is full of something else! They are perfect for smaller quantities of things though.
Overall, I think Magimix flood processors are brilliant, robust little workhorses in the kitchen.
MAGIMIX 5200 Good Points
Durable, good range of attachments
MAGIMIX 5200 Bad Points
More prone to moving during use than my old Magimix, and bowl seems less robust. Bowl becomes cloudy with dishwasher cleaning.

This is a great gift for someone who really likes pasta.
Let’s get the negative comments out of the way:
The directions are pretty clear, but the pictures are poor quality and hard to see. It mentions checking to see if the dough is forming walnut-sized lumps. There is a picture in the manual of this, but you really can’t see what they’re trying to show. In making pasta, we never really saw that happen and the manual wasn’t a big help either.

Also, when prepping the pasta for extruding, you let it extrude 2 golf sized balls. This happened; however, I was concerned because it seemed like there was gaps and holes between the balls. I was afraid the pasta wouldn’t form long enough strands. This didn’t happen (on reflecting more, I can see this wouldn’t be an issue); however, the manual should have made this more clear.
I also don’t like the fact that it seems as though the manufacturer (Lello) doesn’t have a web site with better pictures, online support, etc. And just be aware that the machine is also rather loud (on the order of a loud bread machine).
Now, on to the positive remarks:
The pasta came out just as one would expect and it was super delicious on top of that.
The directions on making the pasta itself were pretty clear. Number 1 rule: get the consistency right.
Clean up wasn’t too bad, although there are a few parts to the machine.
The machine comes with a nice variety of disks to make different types of pasta (spaghetti, fettucini, etc). It also comes with an order form to order plenty of other kinds.
While it may seem I spent a lof of time on the negative remarks, don’t let that frighten you away. They are mostly a failing of the manual to more fully describe and show the desired consistency of the pasta. It’s mostly common sense though and it wasn’t too hard to figure out what they meant.
This is highly recommended. I can’t wait to try other types of pasta and see how they turn out.
