Hello everyone, I wanted to say a few words about this product that I had the pleasure of trying for a few weeks.
My mother bought me and the ‘left on loan for a test …. I must say that is very efficient, I have my doubts at first but the result has been seen and is also good.

The robot rotates constantly around the house in a peaceful passing under all the furniture and avoiding obstacles and while continuing to suck the dust.
Immediately after the battery back to its own base, which you can place in a hidden corner of the house, to recharge, then back on track, day and night.

The only problem may be that pets may not tolerate the intruder trying to stop him. But closing one of the rooms can easily remedy the problem.

Do you have stairs? No problem, Roomba stops and recognizes the steps before falling.

Hello everyone, fresh finish, it is true, if they can not ‘more’, is no longer ‘a dream, but a happy reality.

Today we have reached almost 35 degrees, but there were days, unlivable, 40 degrees in the shade a huge pain for children and adults. The only fashion to be a little ‘good is to be closed in the house with the air conditioner on, because even the sea takes a breath of fresh air. ® Best Morphy Richards 47008 MR Cappuccino coffe machine review

I bought this in a spur of the moment “i need a coffee maker and it can’t wait” decision. It was the best size available as i have a kitchen with limited space i didn’t want one with an espresso maker on as well, i also needed one that looked easy to clean, e.g. no fiddly parts.

This machine has a strength selector on the top of the unit, although i’ve not noticed very much difference whether it’s on strong or light, that really depends on how much coffee and water you put in.
It’s quick to filter and keeps the coffee hot. i generally don’t leave the machine on allday to drink the same coffee. I like to make a fresh pot when i want it, so i can’t comment on whether it burns it or not.

The milk frother uses a whisk rather than steam to froth it, so there isn’t the chance of scalding, but i did forget to turn the hot plate off for the milk and had a bit of trouble cleaning the burnt milk out of the jug, but i’ve not forgotten it since.
Someone else wrote that you can’t stop the milk dripping on the hotplate, well you can’t but it’s not that difficult to clean if it does. Just leave the plate on for a bit longer, without the jug on it, to “burn” the drip/s of milk and then leave to cool, you can pick it off then. Everything else is easy to clean, it either unscrews or twists off. The filter and basket just turn and clip out.

The downside to this machine is that you can’t fill the water reservoir up using the coffee jug with out splashing water everywhere. The lid doesnt lift up far enough to accommodate the size of the jug, so unless you’re an expert with a smaller jug, you’re going to have difficulties. Oh, and it’s even more difficult if you’re left handed.

The top of the lid is metal so be aware that it gets very hot and could lead to burns (it’s the stupidist part of the machines design).

Also i’ve found that the angle of the jug handles is a bit odd, i guess it’s to stop you’re fingers being to close to the hot liquids, but all my other jugs in my kitchen don’t have a handle at an angle that always makes you feel like you’re going to drop it when it’s full, so it make you want to hold the bottom, not a good choice when it’s full of hot coffee/milk

I purchased the freezer Haier HF 113 A in a large shopping center about half a year ago. I needed a concelatore size small because I had to put it in a corner under the staircase ciocciola.
The freezer has a width of about 50cm, about 53cm deep and about 84cm high. The opening is vertical. It has four drawers that open by pulling it towards you. The drawers are not locked, so I can remove them entirely from the freezer, a great advantage for cleaning. In most of the drawers are transparent and allow you to see that I have the content without opening the drawer. The fourth drawer is larger than the others and is great for bulky products such as frozen bags of chips, 2.5 kg.
The freezer is spacious enough for a family I would say up to four people. We are two, and wrapped my freezer is not completely filled.

The freezer has unfortunately not function no frost, then 2 times a year I have to thaw it.
Unfortunately it is very noise! Perhaps it is a regular feature for the freezer, but the first few days after the purchase would give me much discomfort during the night, I love to sleep with the bedroom door open, now some days I close the freezer because the noise is annoying. During the day, but usually do not feel it.

® VAX V 026 Rapide Deluxe vacuum cleaner review

I’ve owned this carpet cleaner with upholstery attachment for nearly exactly two years, when purchased it was on offer at £69.99, currently £81.74 (RRP £149.99)at amazon. The first and probably most important thing I would say about this cleaner is don’t pay £149.99 or you may be disappointed.

At a lower price this cleaner was a good alternative to me to hiring a carpet cleaner – at the time I was moving out of a rental house and into my own house and so wanted to clean all the carptets myself, and this as I shall explain, the cleaner was able to do successfully, though I have a few reservations about this product, even at a lower price.

What you get

The Vax VO26 came in quite a compact box. The first task on opening the box is actually to assemble the cleaner. Now call me fussy but for an item with “deluxe” emblazoned on the front of it, but I don’t necessarily expect to be struggling with a manual, an alun key and bits before I have even started. Flat pack furniture = yes, hoover = poor show; and though it may well save on shipping it doesn’t exactly give you a great start with your cleaner, one of the pieces, a bolt to attach the handle to the body was very fiddly indeed and doesn’t give a great build quality.

The cleaner has a 3.5 litre tank in the body for the cleaning solution, and some solution is provided with extra bottles being easily purchased at Argos or Robert Dyas. There is a tank to collect the empty water, which is 2 litres big. There is a rotating power brush at the front for deeper cleaning and this can be switched off if desired and cuts out automatically if you are using the upholstery attachment. The upholstery attachment is a long tube with a toll on the end which is stowed on the handle of the machine and this attachment has a spray button to pump out water, and can also be used for edges or small areas. The whole thing is fairly bulky to store and once assembled it can’t really be unassembled – I’ve measured and I reckon it takes up about 30cm by 50cm of my very small utility room by the time you have taken into account the tubes and things on the back of the machine.

Using the machine

Now vacuuming in general is not much fun and using this machine is even less fun. You start by filling the tank (fairly easy though the design isn’t great for seeing how much you have put in and the hole to put the water in is in a funny place). Once you have filled the tank you put it onto the body of the machine and you are good to go. There are two (water protected) switches, one the brush and one on and off. On switching the machine on you can’t miss the fact that it is loud, very loud.
It is fairly easy to push along and does pick up water well – ideally you should hoover the area to be cleaned first, the brushes spin well and though tricky to manoeuvre it is ok. The dirty water tank fills up rather quickly and I would say to do one room you need to fiddle with both tanks at least twice, if not three times if your carpets are excessively dirty. Some of my carpets were very dirty, my poor daughter inherited a cream carpet previously owned by a housework shy teenager.
There was a filter on the dirty water tank of a nylon mesh. First time I used the machine this started to disintegrate and I wondered if it was packaging – it fell apart all together on two or three uses. Talking to a friend the same happened to her and she carried on using the machine. Now I don’t advise that you do this – but I was time poor when I bought this so carried on regardless – it hasn’t seemed to matter. When checking on amazon it seems other users have had this fault too, a more common fault being that the machine cuts out as it thinks the tank is full when it isn’t. My machine doesn’t cut out at all, ever, so I have to keep a careful eye to see if one tank is full and the other empty. I perhaps should have invoked the manufacturer’s 12 month guarantee, but I didn’t, and it is still working as well (or as badly) as it did 2 years later, with occassional use these days.
The upholstery tool does work well, however it is not intuitive to fit and the way it is stowed on the machine is frankly pathetic, more bunged on than carefully stowed. The 7.5 metre cable is long enough, but again the way the cable is stored lacks good design.

Does it do the job?

To be fair, yes it cleans. Even the aforementioned dirty cream carpet cleaned up well and I got my deposit back in full (yay!) as I left the rental house immaculate, so worth it to me for that alone. Your carpets won’t look professionally cleaned, but near enough. I find that I can use the cleaner from time to time in my home to get rid of children caused mess and stains, with use of a spot cleaner results are fairly good.
It is hard work to use, however, and you have to empty the tank a lot. The rug doctor that I had previously hired was nicer to use, if you have ever hired one you will know that the rug doctor isn’t much fun either.
It does clean upholstery well and it works fairly well overall, however I don’t think that it will last a long time, the build quality is just not great and neither is the design. In use the bolt I mentioned before has worked its way loose and had to be refitted a couple of times which is highly annoying. Also I think the poor design of the disintegrating filter is pretty inexcusable, though more fool me for not chasing it up.

Final verdict

Overall I would say perhaps buy one, but with reservations. If you are going to spend a fair bit of money you may be able to spend a little more and get a much better machine. I do not have a high opinion of this machine, which is a shame as prior to owning one to me Vax was the name I most associated with carpet cleaners, but I wouldn’t buy another. If you are thinking of buying one I would look at one in a shop before going ahead and purchasing so you can see the build quality for yourself. For me in actual fact the machine paid for itself in rental saved and deposit returned, however I am still not overly impressed.

AEG-Electrolux B31015M oven review

Earlier this year when I remodelled my kitchen I decided to purchase the B31015M oven. I had initially ordered the silver design, as it complimented the hood and would have fit in ideally with the many chrome appliances I own. However, due to a mix up with the order the company sent me the black model and it turned out to be such a problem to return the oven and have them send me the correct colour that I eventually decided to keep the one I had received. As it turned out the black design was a lot more pleasing to the eye than I had imagined, and I later went on to fit my kitchen out with some black tiles, so it suited the design of my kitchen after all.

The AEG oven measures 594 x 594 x 567mm, and is has a reasonably wide handle for opening and closing the door. What surprised me about the door was how thick it was, yet comparatively lightweight. As it turns out this aspect of the design is excellent, as it prevents a lot of heat leaking out of the over when it is in use, and is thus much more economical. The reason for this is that the door is triple glazed. This, combined with the fact that it is fan-assisted means that you should be very careful when setting the temperature of the oven. I say that because it tends to cook food a lot faster than non fan-assisted ovens, and I burned several dishes when I first began using the oven, being as I was not accustomed to its power. I now set the heat dial to at least 10º lower than food preparation instructions recommend, and usually remove the food a good five minutes sooner, too. This is not a real hindrance, as it means food is ready sooner and less power is required, but it does take some getting used to and experimenting in order to make sure food does not become burned during the course of cooking.

This model is very easy on the eye, being as it is stylish as well as being discreet. It has a very modern, minimalist look to it, and it provided many cooking options via the dials without looking, or really being, very complicated to use. One of my favourite aspects of the oven is the fact that despite the triple-glazed window there is a clear view to the inside of the oven, and it has a light which illuminates when in use, so you can keep an eye on your food. I particularly enjoy using this feature when baking, as as well as ensuring my cakes are not burning I can also watch them as they rise.
The oven has two large dials set into the top panel. The first, on the left, allows you to select your method of heating, and the second, on the right, allows you to set the temperature. In the centre is a display panel which gives the time in striking red LCD letters, and you can also set a timer. I have only used the timer once, as I find it is simpler just to make a note of the time myself, but the alarm is impressive in that it is loud enough to detect from another room without being too invasive. The dial on the left gives many options, including oven, oven with fan, grill and grill with fan. I only use two of the options, those being oven with fan and grill with fan. The grill with fan takes a couple of minutes to warm up, and again, will grill food powerfully. Even set at a fairly low temperature I have had to keep an eye on my food as it will cook very quickly. Indeed, although the grill can take a while to warm up, once it is in full swing it will cook food rapidly.

This is a fantastic oven that has surpassed my expectations in terms of efficiency and appearance. I purchased my oven for just over £350, and I have never had any problems with maintenance, etc. With three shelves and a good variety of cooking options this is an ideal oven for a household of up to four people, and is versatile enough in appearance to fit in with many different kitchen designs. As long as you are mindful of the oven’s power you will enjoy many good meals from this product. Highly recommended.

I purchased this machine as a replacement for a Philips bread machine I’ve had for a couple of years. It’s the third bread machine I’ve purchased for myself, and had bought its predecessor (the SD-250) for my Parents some time ago. My Philips packed up (the bread tin broke away from its base), and they don’t make spares, so I have to throw the whole machine in the bin – definitely won’t buy another Philips anything. My parents have been most impressed with the Panasonic, and it’s been personally recommended to me by other people, so after reading all the reviews on Amazon.com I decided to buy one.

So, to the point, I’m thoroughly impressed with this machine. It is solid and quiet. I took the first loaf I made with it and sliced it to find an absolutely even loaf (even from the 1:55 rapid mode). All the other machines I’ve had have had some level of streaking or unevenness in the bread.

As for all the other criticism of the recipe book for its use of weight rather than volume measurements for flour, it is a far more accurate way of measuring flour for any baking. Also the manual has since been updated (no doubt as a result of these criticisms), and now shows the approximate volume equivalents in all the recipes.

The Hotpoint WML 540P is designed to take loads from 1 – 6kg.
It has spin speeds of 400 to1400 rpm and you can wash at temperatures from cold to 90 degrees.
Size of appliance (approx): Width 59.5 cms, Height 85 cms, Depth 60cms.
This washing machine has 3 circular controls. The largest one is for choosing the wash cycle (16 options in total) and the 2 smaller ones are for temperature and spin speed.

There are a series of lights which indicate how far the wash has progressed through the cycle.
There are 3 main categories of wash cycle: Essential, Special and Eco. Also there is the ability to just get the machine to Rinse or Spin or Pump out the water.

The Essential Cycles and Special Cycles are mainly chosen according to the type/colour of the fabric to be washed . Each cycle has a maximum temperature and spin speed associated with it. I like this aspect as it minimises mistakes with temperature as the user can select temperatures and spin-speeds that are lower than those that are automatically associated with each cycle (by using the 2 smaller circular controls) but you cannot select settings that are higher.
There are 3 Eco Cycles which use cold water. Surprisingly I find these very effective for cleaning lightly soiled items such as T shirts etc. These seem to come out of the wash spotlessly clean and smelling fresh despite having been washed in cold water.

Further customisation of each wash can be achieved by using the four Function buttons which can: reduce creases, deal with an extra small load, give an extra rinse or give a high-performance wash.
I find the cycles to be quite slow, on the whole, but they give effective cleaning, which is the main thing for me.

When I first purchased the washing machine it was very quiet but has got a little more noisy over the past months. However, the noise is still not excessive and it remains much quieter, in operation, than my old washing machine.
The detergent dispenser pulls out from the machine in a sort of ‘curve’ and is the shape of a quarter circle when fully opened. It has sections for liquid and powder detergent and a separate area for fabric conditioners etc.

Although 16 wash cycles are available I tend to only regularly use 4 or 5 of these. However it is good to have the choice and the means to choose from such a large selection of options. Also I apreciate the ability to customise each of the cycles if required.
This washing machine is quite straight-forward to use , despite it’s wide choice of options, and I am very pleased with it. The only problem I have is that I have not found a way to easily ‘cancel’ a load if an error has been made.
